Initiation of Insulin Pump Therapy in the Ambulatory Setting

Abstract
Insulin pump therapy can be successfully initiated in an ambulatory setting if the patient's motivation is high, the health care team is available 24 hours a day, and a comprehensive educational program is implemented. Details of patient selection and teaching sessions are discussed.Keywords
