Abstract
The neutron total cross sections of natural Be, C, N, O, Mg, Al, and Si have been measured at a number of energies between 24 and 60 MeV. The over-all precision is better than 1% and the energies have been determined to 100 keV. Smooth variations of the cross sections with energy are found. Keywords
