Abstract
Data is an important aspect of the load forecasting involved in newer distribution planning methods. This paper investigates data collection and coding costs, and impact on accuracy of several different types of data including manually coded land use data, customer data base information, and Landsat information. Results and recommendations based on these tests are given. Keywords
