Abstract
Background. Complications following ambulatory surgical phlebectomy are rare, and to our knowledge, traumatic neuromas have never been reported. objective. To present a case of traumatic neuroma in a 48-year-old woman after ambulatory minisurgical phlebectomy. methods. The ambulatory minisurgical phlebectomy as described by Muller. results. In a 48-year-old woman who developed persisting nodules after phlebectomy, histopathology confirmed the clinical diagnosis of traumatic neuroma.Keywords
