Abstract
One of the outstanding reasons for the active development of controlled fusion nuclear reactors as a source of electric power, aside from economic advantages, is that they are extremely attractive from an environmental standpoint. The basic principles and some of the most pressing problems are presented in this article. Among the problems considered are plasma confinement, heating, fuel injection, and exhaust collection. Keywords
