Abstract
Celiac angiography was performed in 39 patients without pharmaceuticals, with epinephrine or secretin alone and with secretin and epinephrine combined. With secretin, and especially with secretin together with epinephrine the visibility of pancreatic arteries, capillaries and veins increased with a consequent improvement in information. Normal small veins such as the choledochal and the pancreaticoduodenal veins have proved to be of great diagnostic value. With secretin and epinephrine combined abnormal veins and nearly always abnormal capillaries became contrast filled in malignancy of the pancreas. Keywords
