Abstract
Distortions caused by age incidence can combine in a way that greatly increases their magnitude. These distortions also appear in nonseasonal studies of incidence, and their removal from data for schizophrenia reveals an unsuspected lawfulness that provides clues to the nature of that disease.Keywords
