Abstract
Avian encephalomyelitis virus was inoculated into susceptible embryonating eggs by the yolk sac route. At specific intervals, chorioallantoic membrane, allantoic fluid, yolk with yolk sac, viscera, and brain material were harvested from 4 eggs, and like tissues pooled and titered. The brain and visceral pools were shown to have the highest virus yield 9 days postinoculation. Lesser yields were obtained from pools of chorioallantoic membrane, yolk with yolk sac, and allantoic fluid, in that order. Keywords
