Abstract
The total dajly urinary elimination of nicotinamide methochloride by man varied with the indi-vidual and in the same person at differet times within the range of 2 and 8 mg. in 24 hr. The hourly fluctuations in different persons and in the same person under different conditions were similar. The height of the nicotinamide methochloride elimination depends on the intake of it and related compounds and their use by the body, the presence of methyl-donators and the efficiency of the methylating mechanism. The relation of urinary nicotinamide metho-chloride to the nicotinamide ingested, indicates the presence of an extra dietary source of nicotinamide. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
