An improved quasi-optical schottky-diode detector

Abstract

Experimental results of a novel quasi-optical Schottky-diode detector are reported. By use of a conical antenna together with the well-known whisker-corner-reflector antenna, a considerable improvement in the coupling efficiency between the diode and a laser beam has been achieved.
