Abstract
BER performance owing to random FM noise is investigated for QDPSK with postdetection selection diversity reception in a multiplicative Rayleigh fading environment. Experimental results for 16 Kbit/s QDPSK using a Rayleigh fading simulator are reported. It is shown that diversity reception can significantly reduce the impact of random FM noise. Keywords
