Abstract
We study the implications of the ideas of finite-size scaling on homogeneous nucleation phenomena near the critical solution point. It is shown that even with rather simple assumptions, the predictions of classical nucleation theory are modified significantly, and there is indication of a lowering of the nucleation barrier. Keywords
