Abstract
Ant [Pogonomyrmex occidentalis and P. owyheei] colony density decreased, but the denuded disc area increased as big sagebrush crown cover increased and as herbaceous productivity decreased. Other species discussed include: Stipa thurberiana, Artemisia tridentata, Agropyron spicatum, Sitanion hystrix, Poa secunda, Koeleria cristata, Bromus tectorum, Phlox diffusa and Collinsia parviflora. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
