Electronic spectra of some fluoride complexes of second- and third-row transition metals

Abstract

The absorption spectra of a series of solid complex fluorides of second- and third-row transition metals have been measured over the range 10,000–35,000 cm.^–1. They have been interpreted in terms of d→d and charge-transfer transitions.
