Abstract
A new instrument is calculated which makes possible the transformations of an electron beam of wide energy spread into an intense monovelocity beam suitable for electron impact work. In this paper, only the most promising models are calculated and the predicted results raise the possibility of producing intense beams of monovelocity electrons in a nonfield‐free region, consequently reducing noise and secondary reactions. Keywords
