Abstract
A simple application of a mercury-in-rubber strain gauge in a jacket used to measure tidal volume in paralyzed, mechanically ventilated rabbits is described. The jacket produces a record with a straight base line. Shifts of this base line can be used to assess changes in functional residual capacity (FRC).This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
