Abstract
A method for semi-automatically generating sodium-iodide scintillation spectrometer response function matrices is presented. Experimental standard source spectra were used to systematically obtain normalized Compton continua. The normalized continua were indirectly interpolated to obtain the desired response function matrix. The standard source normalization and the indirect interpolation was carried out through the use of a comprehensive pulse-height gain-changing algorithm. Keywords
