Abstract
This paper presents the design and simulation results of single-ended resistive mixer using the PHEMT GaAs technology. This design is done by using Libra Series IV software based on the foundry GMMT H40 smart library. The mixer is design for LMDS System with RF frequency at 28 GHz, LO frequency at 27 GHz and IF frequency at 1 GHz. Simulations on the mixer circuit indicate a conversion loss of 7.8 dB, third order intercept at 20 dBm input power with LO power at 10 dBm. The layout size of the mixer is 1.0 mm/spl times/1.85 mm.Keywords
