Abstract
The stomates of 80 genera of Umbelliferae are classified according to types defined by the character of their structure and their development. The comparison of these types permits the establishment among them of phylogenetic relations which have been confirmed by comparative study of pollen types. The stomatic apparatus presents, therefore, a taxonomic and phylogenetic significance comparable to that of the pollen. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
