Abstract
Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia is an infection that afflicts almost exclusively the immunosuppressed host. Kaposi sarcoma is a rare skin malignancy that may involve the lungs. There is a newly recognized affinity of both of these disorders in young homosexual men. The radiologist must consider Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia and Kaposi sarcoma in such patients who present with undiagnosed lung infiltrates. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
