Abstract
Three groups of patients were treated as follows: (a) one group received intrathecal injections of tuberculin (P.P.D.); (b) another group received intrathecal saline; and (c) the last group had a lumbar puncture followed by another 7-10 days later. Observations failed to show any influence of P.P.D. on the clinical course of multiple sclerosis after the immediate effects of treatment had subsided. Keywords
