Abstract
The mixed leukocyte reaction stimulatory M-locus product of DBA/2 spleen cells was absent from thymus cells. The absence of stimulation was not a result of suppressor T cells. These findings are discussed in relation to the divergent specificity found for the inductive and effector phases of cell-mediated responses. Keywords
