Abstract
The cardiac outputs in 7 dogs were compared as measured by the indocyanine green dye-dilution method and the chronically implanted probes of the electromagnetic flowmeter. A total of 75 outputs was recorded at widely varying cardiac outputs. Results indicated that the coefficient of variance of the differences was 20%. The inherent errors of the 2 methods are discussed. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
