Abstract
A broad spectrum anti-adult southern pine beetle rabbit serum was evaluated in the following test systems: agar gel double diffusion, rocket immunoelectrophoresis, electroimmunodiffusion, crossed electroimmunodiffusion, tandem-crossed electroimmunodiffusion and counter immunoelectrophoresis. Counter immunoelectrophoresis was the most sensitive and rapid procedure, but crossed electroimmunodiffusion separated and quantified individual antigen- antibody systems. Possible laboratory and field applications of each procedure are discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
