L'Evolution géomorphologique du Bassin d'Azraq (Jordanie) depuis le Pléistocène Moyen

Abstract
A geomorphological study of the enclosed Azraq Basin has led the authors to propose a general scheme for the morphological evolution of the arid Near Eastern regions, in the context of cycles of four phases, the deposition offluviatile debris having occurred not only during humid phases but after them, in the catapluvial. They present a general correlation of the evolution in different parts of the basin since the Acheulean, which allows the prehistoric industries to be related to the morphoclimatic phases.
