Abstract
Carabid beetles found in agricultural lands in the Belleville district in 1959-62 are listed, together with notes on their habitats, relative abundance, and months of occurrence. Twelve of the 159 recorded species were sufficiently numerous to warrant investigations on their possible use as control agents for particular crop insect pests. Keywords
