Abstract
Condyloma acuminatum, a verrucose papule or plaque usually found on mucous membrane, may spread and involve the rectal mucosa, the vagina or the urethra, if not treated. The physician can easily diagnose and treat such condylomas in their early stages. Podophyllin usually is effective, and lesions that do not respond to topical therapy can be surgically removed.
