One Explanation for the Exotic State Y(4260)
Abstract
We find in this work that the newly discovered state Y(4260), which has a mass within the scope of conventional charmonium states, by the BaBar Collaboration could be embedded in the molecular state structure. Whereas, in this assignment the molecular-like state is not constructed by two-quark mesons, but rather by baryons. That is to say that the experimental observation of Y(4260) is possibly a baryonium. By this interpretation, the measured unique nature of the state can be easily understood, and some peculiar characters of it are predicted. Keywords
