Abstract
Multi-layered Josephson tunnel junctions composed of NbN base, intermediate(5-10 nm), counterelectrodes, and two MgO barriers have been fabricated. The NbN/MgO/NbN/MgO/NbN junctions have shown good tunneling characteristics with clear gap structures and small subgap leakage currents. The energy gaps for the intermediate electrodes have been estimated to be 2.3-2.4 meV. High uniformity of critical currents has been obtained for an array of 1000 NbN/MgO/NbN/MgO/NbN junctions. Keywords
