Abstract
Pythium irregulare and Pythium sp. were isolated from stem cankers occurring on 1- and 2-year-old cloned material of open-pollinated Salix alba and Salix matsudana seedlings. Both isolates proved pathogenic when inoculated into stems of 1-year-old trees. Keywords
