Abstract
COMPUTED tomography (CT) of the thorax is now being used on a worldwide basis to evaluate various aspects of chest disease. It has been found to be the most sensitive noninvasive technic to detect pulmonary nodules.1 , 2 Several authors3 4 5 have recently proposed and reported the use of CT scans of the thorax as a staging technic for bronchogenic carcinoma. Studies reported to date have compared CT to conventional noninvasive staging technics, and in one study,5 CT has on occasion replaced invasive staging procedures. A lack of radiologic, CT and pathological correlation led us to compare the results of CT scans of . . .Keywords
