Abstract
The perfluorophosphaalkene F3CP=CF2 (1) reacts as a dienophile at temperatures between -20 and +15 °C with cyclopentadiene, 1,3-cyclohexadiene, butadiene and 2,3-dimethyl- butadiene, respectively, giving the corresponding Diels-ALder adducts 2 to 5 in high yields. The observed reactivity proves the close relationship of P=C and C=C systems.
