Abstract
Using the fixed-spin-moment method of Moruzzi and co-workers (1988), the author develops a general theory of the thermal and magnetomechanical properties of weak itinerant ferromagnets in terms of spin and density fluctuations. Special attention is given to Invar effects. Keywords
