Abstract
A review of the literature reveals the rarity of the coexistence of these 2 diseases in the adolescent. A case report of a boy, who developed diabetes at 10, and Addison''s disease at 15, appears to be the youngest on record for the onset of Addison''s in a diabetic. He had 2 episodes of crises, the 1st with the characteristic electrolyte changes. The 2d crisis caused death in 12 hours. The electrolyte pattern was normal prior to death. Keywords
