Abstract
A new and practiscal enzymatic procedure for preparative diastereoselective hydrolysis of peptide esters using the alkaline protease alcalase as a catalyst was developed. This procedure has been successfully applied to the resolution of peptide diastereomers and synthesis of racemization free peptides. Keywords
