Abstract
Summary: Anti-benzenearsonic acid antibodies were purified from sera of b4b5 heterozygous rabbits and the IgG and IgM antibodies separated by gel filtration. The relative allotype content of the IgG and IgM antibodies was similar to that of the IgG of the serum from which they were isolated. Evidence is thus provided for a regulatory mechanism controlling the relative amounts of light chains of alternative allelic allotypes in total serum γG-immunoglobulins and antibodies of at least two different heavy chain classes. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
