Abstract
Amorphous alloy applications for various magnetic devices have been investigated. This review discusses application of amorphous alloys in the magnetic cores of switching regulators, including magnetic amplifiers, spike killers, choke coils, and main transformers. Amorphous alloys are shown to be useful in raising performances and reducing the sizes of switching regulators. Keywords
