Abstract
The errors introduced by the use of the McLean sampling vessel for determination of the dissolved oxygen content of water up to 0·1 p.p.m. are discussed. A new apparatus is developed by means of which a precision of ± 0·0007 p.p.m. in the determination may be obtained. A modification for use with warm water‐samples is described. Keywords
