Abstract
A case of fast, deadly cryoglobulinemia is described. From the gradient separation, the dissolved cryogel resulted in 2 peaks (21–22S and 7S). Both fractions showed a double immuiseases nological specifity (IgM and IgG). The heavy peak contained complexes of 19S and 7S with very stable bond, not belonging to the ‘rheumatoid factor’ IgG-type. The presence of a component of IgM specifity in the 7S fraction, probably consisting of catabolic products of pathological macroglobulins, corresponds to the high catabolic rate of labelled heavy fraction. Keywords
