Abstract
Septic pelvic thrombophlebitis, the result of serious pelvic infection usually following obstetric or gynecologic procedures, was studied in a retrospective case evaluation and prospective surveillance. Septic pelvic thrombophlebitis was seen very rarely. Possible reasons for the decline in the incidence of this problem and a management plan are presented. Three cases are included. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
