Abstract
Electrophoretic patterns on starch gel at pH 2.3 have been obtained from whole calf-thymus histone and from the three fractions obtained by chromatography on carboxymethylcellulose. The recombined chromatographic fractions, when run on starch gel, produced the original pattern of whole histone. Correlations have been made between the chromatographic fractions and the electrophoretic groups, and other characteristics of these groups are given. Keywords
