Abstract
Exposure of living yeast cells to u.-v. results, without disintegration of the cells, in the liberation of large amts. of nitrogenous material into the surrounding medium. This material stimulates yeast growth. Although the medium contains adenine nucleotide derivatives, these are not necessarily the growth-promoting principles. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
