Abstract
Normal endometrium in the secretory stage and endometrium from women suffering from prolifera-tive bleeding and endometrial hyperplasia contained large amounts of an activator of plasminogen. Decidual tissue from normal pregnancy and placenta were inactive. Decidual tissue from spontaneous abortions was active. No inhibitory compounds similar to the inhibitor from ox lung tissue were found in any of the samples. Keywords
