Abstract
We observed a case of hyperammonaemic encephalopathy in a patient without liver dysfunction which revealed meningeal involvement of IgD multiple myeloma. We have reviewed briefly the hyperammonaemic syndrome and we believe that this diagnosis has to be considered in differential diagnosis of encephalopathies in patients with multiple myeloma. Keywords
