Abstract
Germanium tetraphenyl has been burnt in a rotating, aneroid combustion calorimeter. The standard heat of combustion was ΔH°c= 3140.2 ± 3.3 kcal mole–1, which yields a standard heat of formation of ΔH°f(GePh4,c)= 67.2 ± 3.3 kcal mole–1.
