Abstract
The four hydride systems of current interest for hydrogen storage applications are the hydrides of magnesium and certain of its alloys, iron-titanium alloys, vanadium, and lanthanum pentanickel (or AB/sub 5/) type alloys. Peak shaving, automotive, thermal storage and solar energy, and pumps and compressors are some of the areas of application. (LK)Keywords
