Abstract
A procedure is derived for determining the interreflected component of various quantities of engineering interest. The procedure accounts for the actual, possibly rapidly varying, luminance distribution on room surfaces. The luminance distribution is allowed to be continuous, rather than the usual discrete approximation provided by the finite element method. Computational convenience is also demonstrated. Keywords
