Abstract
Administration of adult female nematodes of the common parasite in laboratory rats, Trichosomoides crassicauda to adult rats leads to a rise in the number of blood eosinophils. The reaction appears fairly rapidly and appears to be due to the action of infective eggs. Attention should be paid to this infection as a factor which may disturb investigations on eosinophilia in rats. Keywords
