Abstract
The elastic constants of Cu-(0.23 at.%)Au, Cu-(2.8 at.%)Au, and Cu-(10.0 at.%)Au have been experimentally measured over the temperature range 300-4.2 °K. The elastic constants at 0 °K have been fitted with the Neighbors-Smith model for shear elastic constants of dilute monovalent-metal alloys. Keywords
