Abstract
A method is described for the gas-chromatographic determination of Picloram herbicide in soils and plant material by using an electron-capture detector. The method described for soil has a sensitivity of 0·02 p.p.m. By the use of more rigorous clean-up procedures Picloram can be detected in other plant material at a level of 0·005 p.p.m., and recoveries of added Picloram range from 60 to 110 per cent. over the concentration range of 0·02 to 0·5 p.p.m.Keywords
